Once you have received an email from an Amazon sender, you should see a box at the top of the message:
Your attachments will be listed after "Attachment(s) protected by Amazon:". Click the link to download the attachment. The attachment will be downloaded to your default downloads folder. To view the attachment, open the downloaded file.
When you receive an email from Amazon with passcode protected attachments, you should see a box at the top of the message:
Click the link to download the attachment. You will be prompted to enter the passcode from the email.
Copy the passcode from email banner titled "Passcode required: ". Paste the passcode to the text box under "Passcode" where it says, "Enter passcode". After entering the correct passcode, click the "Download" button to save the attachment.
If the email includes multiple attachments, you can download them individually or click "Download All" in the email to save all attachments as a ZIP file. All attachments in the email use the same passcode.
Download links are valid for 30 days from the time the email is sent. After 30 days, the link will no longer be accessible. Clicking an expired link will land you on this page:
You may also see this page if the sender has revoked access to the attachment. Contact the sender if you have any questions or issues.
At the bottom of the box with your link(s) you will see a link to share your feedback. Please take the time to share with us so we can continue improving user experience.
Amazon is using a secure process to share attachments. You will still be able to access all attachments sent to you, however you will need to click the link in the attachments box to download them, rather than an attachment itself. You will have access to download for 30 days, and then the link will expire.
The links are only valid for 30 days. You will need to reach out to the original sender and request that they send you the attachment again. This will generate a new link.
Access can be revoked by the sender prior to the 30 days. Reach out to the sender for more information.
Check your (or your company's) settings around firewall or other blocks on external websites. If there is a block that you cannot work around, have the sender reach out to IT Amazon to help resolve this.
A passcode is required to download passcode protected attachment.
Please make sure:
If needed, ask the sender to resend the attachment.
The passcode is only included in the original email. If you no longer have access to it, contact the sender to resend the attachment.
