Once you have received an email from Amazonian sender, you should see a box at the top of the message:
Your attachments will be listed after “Attachment(s) protected by Amazon:”. Click the link to download the attachment. It will download to your default downloads folder. You can open the newly downloaded file to view the attachment that was shared with you.
Attachments will be available to you for download for 30 days from the original send. If you have clicked the link after those 30 days, instead of downloading the file, clicking the link will land you on this page:
Another reason you may land on this page is if the sender has revoked access manually. Contact the sender if you have any questions or issues.
At the bottom of the box with your link(s) you will see a link to share your feedback. Please take the time to share with us, so that we can better improve for our customers!
Amazon is using a secure process to share attachments. You will still be able to access all of the attachments sent to you, however you will need to click the link in the attachments box to download them, rather than an attachment itself. You will have access to download for 30 days, and then the link will expire.
The links are only valid for 30 days. You will need to reach out to the original sender and request that they send you the attachment again. This will generate a new link.
Access can be revoked by the sender prior to the 30 days. Reach out to the sender for more information.
Check your (or your company’s) settings around firewall or other blocks on external websites. If there is a block that you cannot work around, have the sender reach out to IT Amazon to help resolve this.
